Seventeen Kentucky school districts recently received the SchoolMatch “What Parents Want” awards for 2012.

The districts are:

Daviess Co.

Elizabethtown Ind.

Erlanger-Elsmere Ind.

Fayette Co.

Ft. Thomas Ind.

Hardin Co.

Jefferson Co.

Jessamine Co.

Kenton Co.

Madison Co.

McCracken Co.

Murray Ind.

Oldham Co.

Pikeville Ind.

Warren Co.

Woodford Co.

This is the 21st annual designation of “What Parents Want” awardees, which recognizes school systems that make noteworthy efforts to meet students’ and parents’ needs. SchoolMatch, a school research and data consulting firm, selects the winners based on input from users of the company’s databases.

For 2012, approximately 2,400 schools nationwide were recognized with the “What Parents Want” award.
