The North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) Education Program invites teachers and their students to take a field trip to the world’s largest purebred livestock show.

Students will have up-close experiences with many kinds of farm animals and they’ll learn about the importance of agriculture in our daily lives. There are opportunities to see different animal species on different days – dairy and beef cattle, sheep, swine, quarter and draft horses and more.

The NAILE will be November 9-22, 2013 at the Kentucky Exposition Center. School tours are available on November 12, 14, 15, and 18-21, 2013. The cost of the field trip is $2.00 per student/teacher/chaperone and $8.00 per vehicle to park. For more information visit our website at http://www.livestockexpo.orgor contact Bryan Blair at bblair@ksfb.ky.gov.  The deadline to book a field trip is October 25, 2013.
