Natalie McCutchen, a Hope Street Group 2013-2014 fellow and  a 7th grade Math at Franklin Simpson Middle School in the Simpson County School District, shared her thoughts and experience on implementing the Kentucky Core Academic Standards (KCAS) in Education Week this week.

McCutchen’s column, “Standards: A View From My Classroom”, appeared in Stu Silberman’s regular online blog space. Silberman is the executive director of the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence, a citizen advocacy group based in Lexington.
