The Kentucky Educational Development Corporation is sponsoring its second Teaching American History (TAH) Network Summit, June 17-18 (8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET each day), at Eastern Kentucky University.

These two days will contain vast information with a focus on instructional strategies, student engagement, technology and historical content. We also are supporting the Kentucky Social Studies Networks from each cooperative in the state along with the C3 Framework (college, career and civic life for social studies state standards).

The suggested audience includes TAH teachers, social studies teachers, language arts teachers, special education teachers and administrators. Up to 12 hours of professional development or 12 EILA hours will be available for this free event.
