Free school safety training offered in Somerset

There will be a free training opportunity at the Kentucky Regional Conference on School Safety and Bullying, Nov. 10 and 11 at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset. Educators can receive up to seven hours of continuing education credit at this free training.

Here is a list of speakers and topics:

  • Don Alwes, National Tactical Officers Association – “Preparing and Responding to Active School Shooters”

  • Lt. Tim Enos, Sarasota Co. (Fla.) Sheriff’s Office: Cyber-Bullying & Social Media Threats to Schools
