A call for proposals has been issued for educator presentations at the Kentucky History Education Conference, which will be held July 9 at the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History in Frankfort.

The theme of the conference is “Exploration, Encounter and Exchange in History,” which is based around the 2015-16 National History Day theme.

Teachers who may have innovative classroom practices are invited to submit proposals to share and present their ideas by emailing a short abstract (up to 200 words) and a resume to Tim Talbott at tim.talbott@ky.gov by April 10. Accepted presenters will have their conference registration fee waived and lunch provided.

For more information, email Talbott or call (502) 564-1792, ext. 4428.
