The Eastern Kentucky University Physics Department will host “Next Generation Physics Teaching,” a regional innovation conference, March 13-14 in Richmond. The conference, which is supported by the Kentucky Association of Physics Teachers and other sections of the American Association of Physics Teachers, will provide useful information and resources for high school and college physics, science and engineering teachers.

There will be half-day workshops, as well as speakers, active sessions, research presentations and opportunities for high school and college physics teachers to discuss things that are important to think about as they try to teach physics in the dawn of the Next Generation Science Standards.

The registration fee is $45, and dinner on March 13 is provided for those who pre-register and make payment by noon March 9. Click here for more information or to register.
