The Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana (EFK) has received a grant from the national Epilepsy Foundation and the Centers for Disease Control to provide seizure training to Kentucky students. The one-hour lesson is in the “flipped classroom” format, which provides students with a video lesson to watch the day before the actual classroom presentation.

Teachers familiar with the flipped classroom format will be provided with curriculum and guidance; EFK personnel are also available to lead the session, providing instruction for one or more classes and related materials free of charge.

Lessons are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Email David Pettit or call Pettit at (270) 316-3945 to schedule the training.
