Teachers can learn how to better integrate technology with literacy instruction at the Kentucky Writing Project Summer Tech Academies this summer.

The three-day professional development workshops will allow teachers to learn about websites, apps and tools that will streamline management as well as engage students in ways to use technology that enhance literacy learning.

The schedule of workshops:

  • June 9-11, Lexington
  • June 15-17, Richmond
  • July 21-23, Louisville

Sessions are geared for all grade levels. Teacher leaders will demonstrate projects integrating technology into literacy instruction and engage participants in doing the same. Participants will receive 18 hours of professional development credit
