The Kentucky School for the Blind is accepting nominations for the Paul J. Langan Distinguished Service Award, which is given to a Kentucky resident or former Kentuckian who displays qualities that have had a strong, positive influence on KSB and on the lives of persons who are blind or visually impaired.

The award, established in 1992, honors Langan, who was superintendent of KSB from 1945-56 and whose innovative approach to education established the foundation for the continuing improvement of education of the blind and visually impaired students at KSB. The award will be presented May 9 during the KSB 175th anniversary celebration dinner and Founder’s Day celebration.

The nomination deadline is March 31. Click here for a nomination form.
