The Northern Kentucky University Center for Environmental Education is offering a microcredential in environmental education for teachers, students and professionals interested in learning more about the environment, connecting to nature and understanding how nature and the environment impact our lives.

The program consists of three courses totaling nine credits:

  • EDU 545, Fundamentals of Environmental Education;
  • EDU 546, Teaching Environmental Education; and either
  • EDU 594-01, Environmental Issues, or EDU 594-02, Teaching and Learning in the Outdoors
