The Teaching for Democracy Alliance is looking for K-12 school leaders to participated in a new Preparing Future Voters Learning Series.

The series is designed for schools in the U.S. South to further their knowledge and skills to promote informed voting.

The learning series will include several discussions:

  • The role of schools, educators and district administrators supporting growing voters.
  • How to support educators using nonpartisan resources.
  • Engaging stakeholders and sharing the importance of teaching about voting and elections in schools.
  • Implementing next steps for informed voting.

Selected participants will be invited to attend three monthly virtual sessions between October and December, in addition to receiving a $300 stipend for their participation.
