Eastern Kentucky University will host “A History of Education in Kentucky Symposium,” Sept. 8. The symposium will be based on the soon-to-be-released University Press of Kentucky book, A History of Education in Kentucky, authored by Kentucky historian and retired EKU professor William E. Ellis. The day-long symposium will cover many aspects of Kentucky’s public and private P-16 educational system: its past, present and future.
