Teachers are encouraged to submit proposals to be presenters at the Kentucky Education Association’s Let’s TALK: Conversations About Effective Teaching conference June 12-13 at Edythe J. Hayes Middle School in Lexington.

The conference is designed to inform participants about effective strategies for improving professional practice through instructional strategies and new leadership roles. Presentations should demonstrate ways in which classroom teachers contribute to ongoing improvement in education by sharing examples of classroom excellence and their experiences with new leadership roles and education initiatives.

Proposals will be reviewed by a committee of teachers. Click here to submit a proposal.

Conference organizers also want to highlight success stories from those who have trained or attended a training at past Let’s TALK conferences. Email Michelle New for more information.

Registration will open in March for the conference.
