Mammoth Cave National Park, Western Kentucky University and the Kentucky University Partnership in Environmental Education (KUPEE) will offer a climate change workshop for middle school and high school teachers Oct. 28 at Mammoth Cave.

Participants will examine the roles of water, weather and climate and global systems as they relate to a changing climate. They also will practice new classroom activities and demonstrations that correlate with the Kentucky Academic Standards for Science and take home resources and materials.

Workshop topics will include best practices for teaching climate literacy, resources for teaching climate literacy and common misconceptions.
