The Fund for Transforming Education in Kentucky invites teachers to share video examples of creative and innovative learning so it can recognize best practices and share the examples with others across the state and nation.

The Fund will accept video submissions on an ongoing basis to build its bank of video examples in its Teacher Portal. To launch the search, a contest will be held offering the chance for one educator and a group of up to four students to meet former National Basketball Association star and Louisville native Allan Houston at its innovative learning summit Feb. 23.

Houston’s foundation, The Legacy Foundation, focuses on funding and assisting programs focusing on fatherhood and entrepreneurship. Houston believes firmly in the power of education, life skills and economic empowerment through entrepreneurship.

Videos must capture innovative teaching and learning and be posted online using a public service such as YouTube or Vimeo, with the URL and contact information submitted to Amanda Riley by Feb. 7.
