Students are invited to submit posters for the National Association for Pupil Transportation’s 2017 State School Bus Safety Poster Contest. The contest is open to all elementary and middle school students, and high school students in special education and computer-aided drawing programs.

This year’s contest theme is, “My School Bus – The Safest Form of School Transportation.” Posters should be submitted to the local selection committee established in each school district, which will submit no more than one poster for each category to be judged at the state level. State winners in each category will move on to the national contest.

State finalist entries must be submitted by May 1; students should not submit their work to the state. Visit KDE’s website for more information.
