The Simpson County school district was honored recently at the seventh annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky awards ceremony. For the second straight year, the school district received the recognition in the large company (250 or more employees) division. Franklin-Simpson is the first and only state school district to receive the honor. The scores are compiled through an assessment and survey taken by employees. The goal of Best Places to Work in Kentucky is to create new levels of excellence in employee engagement among Kentucky’s employers.
