The Warren County Area Technology Center (ATC) has been named a winner of the Excellence in Action award from Advance CTE, a national nonprofit career and technical education organization. The school’s automotive technology program will be recognized in the transportation and logistics career cluster.

The On Track car-building program, a partnership with the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce in which students use multiple educational disciplines to rebuild competition sports cars, is the initiative that led to the award. The presentation of the award will be May 3 at an Advance CTE Conference in Washington.

“We are proud for the national recognition, but we are more proud of the partnerships that are creating the opportunities for our students to be in the spotlight while successfully transitioning into family sustaining wages,” Warren County ATC Principal Eric Keeling said.
