The National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) has named its fifth class of 35 Under 35, and one Kentucky public relations professional is included.

Jared Revlett, public information officer for Owensboro Independent public schools, is the only Kentuckian on the list of emerging leaders in strategic communication.

The award program, sponsored by #SocialSchool4EDU, recognizes young professional members who are making a difference for their school districts or education-related employers, according to NSPRA.

Nominations are made every other year and honorees must be 35 or younger by the nomination deadline. They must have worked in school public relations for at least one year and be professional members of NSPRA.

Honorees have all contributed to NSPRA in some way: serving as chapter officers, writing for the Social School PR blog, presenting at an NSPRA seminar or serving as a PR Power Hour panelist.

Each member of the 35 Under 35 class will be featured in the group’s e-newsletter, NSPRA This Week, and will get a $100 discount on the NSPRA national seminar in New Orleans in July 2021.
