Gov. Steve Beshear made a new appointment and reappointed two additional members to the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB) this week.

Brandy L. Beardsley of Berea, a teacher in Madison County, was appointed to the board to represent elementary school teachers. Her term will expire Sept. 18, 2015. The appointment replaces Barbara S. Stoess, whose term has expired.

Gov. Beshear also reappointed the following members to the board to serve for terms expiring Sept. 18, 2015:

  • Thomas J. Stull, of Villa Hills, is a teacher in Kenton County. He represents middle or secondary school teachers.
  • Marie Renee McMillen, of Murray, is a teacher in Marshall County. She represents secondary school teachers.
