The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) has assembled some resources on its website to help schools and districts as they complete their Comprehensive School/District Improvement Plans (CSIP/CDIP).

Included in the documents are Frequently Asked Questions, a timeline and alignment information. In addition, there are links to “how to” videos for schools and districts; two technical manuals that detail the process step-by-step; and other helpful information.

Anyone can access this information by going to the KDE website and selecting School Improvement and then Comprehensive Improvement Planning.

April 2012 plans should be updated with K-PREP data in ASSIST by Feb. 1. Any Title I, special education and Response to Intervention, focus or priority schools need to be sure to build their plans in ASSIST.

Questions can be directed to csipdsip@education.ky.gov.
