The Kennedy Center Alliance for Arts Education Network and National School Boards Association Award is open for nominations.

The winning school board receives a plaque, along with a cash award of $10,000 for arts education programs. Details can be found here.

Since 1989, this annual award had been presented to a school board that has demonstrated support for and commitment to high-quality arts education. This national award recognized districts that have included four artistic disciplines — visual arts, music, theater and dance — in their programs. The nomination deadline is Nov, 1, 2013.
