The 2018 Kentucky Library Association (KLA)/Kentucky Association of School Librarians (KASL) Conference will be Sept. 19-22 at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville. The theme this year – Libraries Cultivate Lifelong Learning – explores the ways in which libraries encourage, support and sustain learning across the spectrum of life.
Proposals for sessions are welcome from colleagues in all types of libraries. Submit session titles and descriptions (150 words or less) and contact information for up to three presenters using this Google form.
Concurrent sessions will be 50 minutes in length, and will be held Thursday, Friday or Saturday. While conference planners will make every effort to honor schedule preferences, first choices cannot be guaranteed. Please also be aware that, in accordance with KLA policy, all accepted presenters must register to attend at least one day of the conference.
Proposals will be accepted through March 16, with notification of acceptance by April 20.
