The University of Louisville’s McConnell Center is accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year’s Teacher Scholar Program. The in-person and online hybrid professional development and networking opportunity is for select Kentucky educators looking to increase their content knowledge in American history, civics and political culture.

Participants will receive 20 professional development hours, monthly lecture and seminar opportunities with leading scholars, opportunities to participate in all-expenses-paid weekend retreats and free copies of McConnell Center publications and teaching resources. This year’s study will center on themes discussed in Russell Kirk’s “The Roots of American Order.”

The program is free and applications will be accepted on a rolling basis through Aug. 31. For questions and more information, email Natalie Smith.
