Applications are being accepted for the 2016 Kentucky Center Academies for Arts & Arts Integration.

Since 2000, The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts has partnered with the Kentucky Department of Education to provide active, standards-aligned professional learning academies in the arts and arts integration for certified Kentucky public school teachers. The four academies being offered this summer include:
- June 13-16: Arts Academy, Danville
- June 13-17: STEAM Academy, Corbin
- June 27-30: Arts-Literacy-Social Studies Academy, with a special workshop by Kentucky Poet Laureate George Ella Lyon, Owensboro.
- July 11-14: Interculturality Leadership Academy for the Integration of the Arts, World Languages and Social Studies, Louisville
