Applications are open for the 2019-2020 Code.org Professional Learning Program for middle and high school teachers.
AdvanceKentucky and Code.org will host an introductory workshop for school administrators and counselors interested in the AdvanceKentucky Professional Learning Program and a one-day workshop that prepares K-5 teachers to use Code.org’s Computer Science Fundamentals curriculum Nov. 10 at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville.
AdvanceKentucky, a Code.org regional partner and part of the Kentucky Computer Science Initiative, will host a video conference for teachers interested in learning more about the Code.org Professional Learning Program in Kentucky from 10 a.m. to noon ET Nov. 15.
Kentucky Commissioner of Education Stephen Pruitt, state and national partners from AdvanceKentucky, the College Board, Code.org and Kentucky Sen. David Givens announced a new computer science initiative that will expand computer science learning opportunities for Kentucky public school students.
