Bullitt schools receive $90,000 in PLTW grants

Four elementary schools and three middle schools in Bullitt County have been awarded Project Lead The Way grants funded by the Bemis Company Foundation. Grant-writing workshop scheduled in Louisville

The American Printing House for the Blind and Grant Writing USA will present a two-day grants workshop Nov. 19-20 in Louisville. 64 Community Early Childhood Councils receive funds to support readiness

Gov. Steve Beshear this week announced more than $1 million in grants to be awarded to 64 Community Early Childhood Councils (CECCs) covering 88 Kentucky counties to promote school readiness for children. Mini-grants available to increase girls’ interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)
