Superintendents of five public school districts shared how they will use new federal ESSER II funding. Returning to in-person classes, administration of statewide assessments and using retired teachers as substitutes also was discussed.
Gov. Andy Beshear announced an executive order during his Feb. 23 media briefing that recommends all public school districts to offer or expand in-person instructional opportunities beginning March 1, or seven days after district personnel receives their second COVID-19 vaccination.
I know these are frustrating times for all of Kentucky’s public school families.
