Hart County teacher named 2017-18 Art Educator of the Year

Jennifer Bruton Sims was named the 2017-18 Art Educator of the Year by the Kentucky Art Education Association at its annual conference. A 20-year veteran in Hart County schools, Sims teaches at Munfordville Elementary School.
Logan Smith was awarded the Three Dimensional Best in Show at the Kentucky Art Education Society’s high school All-State Art Competition. Smith is a student at DuPont Manual High School (Jefferson County). Photo submitted by Jefferson County Public Schools

After another successful year of making art, the 2017 Kentucky Art Education Association’s All-State Art Competitions exhibited the best of the best from the Commonwealth of Kentucky
