Governor Beshear signs epinephrine pen legislation

Gov. Steve Beshear this week ceremonially signed House Bill 172, a measure to encourage schools to keep emergency medication on hand for children who can suffer severe, life-threatening allergic reactions. Health grants awarded to 41 high schools

The Kentucky Department for Public Health (DPH) and its partners have selected 41 high schools to receive grants to develop or improve the nutritional, physical activity or tobacco prevention policies at their schools.
