The agriculture program at Warren East High School in Warren County is using a Better Days Through Better Ways Grant from the Kentucky FFA Foundation to teach students from start-to-finish how they can help address food insecurity in their own community.
Kentucky FFA students were selected as finalists for the National FFA convention & Expo in areas of proficiency and the agriscience fair, and chapters across the commonwealth were chosen as finalists for national recognition. Students and chapters will participate in online interviews this fall. Winners will be announced at the 94th National FFA Convention from Oct. 27- 30 in Indianapolis.
Kentucky FFA was well represented at the 93rd Annual National FFA Convention, held virtually Oct. 27-29. More than 100,000 FFA members, advisers and supporters registered for the event, which also was broadcast live on RFD TV.
