The Kentucky Department of Education’s (KDE's) Office of Special Education and Early Learning has been awarded a competitive grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs.
Students with disabilities remain entitled to the federally required provision of a Free Appropriate Public Education, and a Kentucky Department of Education associate commissioner told administrators that schools must make every effort to provide that during non-traditional instruction.
