Fayette psychologist earns statewide award

Diann Shuffett Ashcraft, a psychologist with the Fayette County schools, has been named School Psychologist of the Year by the Kentucky Association for Psychology in the Schools (KAPS). She also was one of five contenders to receive a Best Practice Award during the KAPS conference Oct. 13 in Louisville.

Kentucky Association for Psychology in the Schools

The annual Kentucky Association for Psychology in the Schools (KAPS) will be Sept. 21-23 in Lexington. The registration packets will be posted on the KAPS website and distributed by e-mail. Hotel reservations can be made at www.thecampbellhouse.net, using the block code KAF until Aug 23. The nightly rate for KAPS is $89.
