The Kentucky Board of Education took a first look at the proposed new accountability system for Kentucky schools and districts during a work session Feb. 7 and generally liked what it saw.
Three members of the Kentucky Board of Education, Roger Marcum, Jonathan Parrent and Mary Gwen Wheeler, recently completed three days of intensive training to help new board members become highly effective state education policymakers.
