Teaching About Climate and the Environment, a professional learning opportunity for middle school and high school teachers, will be June 12 at Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights.

The workshop – presented by the NKU Integrative Center for Science and Mathematics, the Kentucky University Partnership for Environmental Education and the Kentucky Association for Environmental Education – offers best practices for teaching climate literacy, supplies hands-on activities and provides certification and curriculum guides for the Project Learning Tree Southeastern Forests curriculum. Participants will be eligible to apply for a grant of up to $3,000 for classroom, school or community projects.
