Kentucky Storytelling Conference to be held in Louisville

Registration is open for the Kentucky Storytelling Conference Nov. 3-4 at the Hotel Louisville.

The event includes featured storyteller Megan Hicks, who tells stories from her life as well as stories of historical events, folk tales, fairy tales and stories via the art of origami. There also will be workshops on various aspects of storytelling, storytelling concerts, open-mic sessions and a competitive StorySlam.

Advance registration discounts are available through Oct. 25, but participants also may register at the door. Participating educators are eligible for up to 11.5 hours of continuing education credit. Visit the Kentucky Storytelling Association’s website for more information.
