The Kentucky Association of School Administrators (KASA) is hosting multiple professional development opportunities in September.

KASA Aspiring Principals Program: Sept. 18

The Aspiring Principals Program is designed to do more than check the box on eligibility — it gets you truly ready to lead. Grounded in the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (PSEL) and “The Leadership Challenge,” this nine-month experience equips rising leaders with the skills, confidence, and real-world preparation needed to step into the principalship.

Through six in-person, full-day sessions, participants gain hands-on experience with the core functions of school leadership — engaging faculty, students, and the broader community — while connecting with mentors who know the work. Successful completers earn a KASA Program Certificate of Leadership Readiness, are celebrated at the 2026 Annual Leadership Institute, and leave with résumé-ready recognition of their achievement.
