Commissioner Lewis to give State of Education address

(FRANKFORT, KY) – Education Commissioner Wayne Lewis will deliver the 2019 State of Education address 5 p.m. ET Dec. 3 on the first floor of the Kentucky Department of Education building, 300 Sower Blvd., Frankfort.

The address will highlight recent K-PREP, ACT and NAEP test scores, transition readiness and current trends in Kentucky education.

Lewis will present four awards for innovation and excellence in educational leadership and also speak about the work of the department in 2019 and what’s to come in 2020.
