The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) is seeking public comment on the state’s request to waive the carryover limitation for Title I, Part A and to extend the period of availability of funds for programs under the Every Student Succeeds Act.

KDE is seeking extended timelines for Title I, Part A, including the portions of the state education agency’s Title I, Part A award used to carry out section 1003 school improvement, section 1003A; Title I, Part D, Subpart 2; Title I, Part B; Title I, Part C; Title I, Part D, Subpart 1; Title II, Part A; Title III, Part A; Title IV, Part A; Title IV, Part B; Title V, Part B, Subpart 2; and the Stronger Connections Grant.

Public comments must be received by 5 p.m. ET on May 6.
