Child and Adult Care Food Program eligibility guidelines revised

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has set the income eligibility guidelines for students and adults to participate in free, reduced-price meal programs through the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) for 2022-2023. The CACFP is federally funded through the USDA and is administered by the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), Division of School and Community Nutrition.

Commissioner’s Student Advisory Council members, Lt. Gov. Coleman present student mental health recommendations to Kentucky legislators

KDE and Kentucky Office of Highway Safety release school bus safety videos

As school districts across the state begin a new school year, the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) and the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety (KOHS) have teamed up to release video public service announcements (PSAs) for media partners to use to educate students and the community about school bus safety.
