Kentucky FFA members excel at National FFA Convention

Kentucky FFA was well represented at the 94th annual National FFA Convention, which was held Oct. 27-30 in Indianapolis. More than 60,000 FFA members, advisers and guests attended the convention, which is the largest youth organization gathering in the United States.

Sixteen new high schools get funding to start new KYTSA chapters

The Kentucky Technology Student Association (KYTSA) will start 16 new high school chapters this fall thanks to a generous donation from Stan and Karen Pigman. All 16 schools are in the southeast region of Kentucky and will receive funding to start and maintain an active KYTSA chapter.

Kentucky FFA members, chapters selected as national finalists

Kentucky FFA students were selected as finalists for the National FFA convention & Expo in areas of proficiency and the agriscience fair, and chapters across the commonwealth were chosen as finalists for national recognition. Students and chapters will participate in online interviews this fall. Winners will be announced at the 94th National FFA Convention from Oct. 27- 30 in Indianapolis.

Students shine in STEM events during first virtual national TSA conference

More than 80 middle and high school students from 12 schools represented Kentucky during the 2021 Technology Student Association (TSA) National Conference, with several bringing home awards. More than 5,000 students from across the country participated in the first National TSA Conference to be held virtually.
