Nominations are being accepted for the Kentucky Jump$tart Coalition’s Financial Literacy Teacher of the Year award, which honors a Kentucky teacher in grades K-12 who demonstrates an exceptional commitment to teaching financial literacy topics and motivating students to learn about personal finance.
In celebration of Financial Literacy Month in Kentucky, the Kentucky Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy is participating in Teach Children to Save Day on April 29. David Sandlin, a teacher at Walton Verona (Independent) High School, recently was named the 2013 Financial Literacy Teacher of the Year by the Kentucky Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy.
