KDE to recommend waivers delaying charter school authorization training

Interim Kentucky Education Commissioner Kevin C. Brown told the Local Superintendents Advisory Council at its Jan. 28 meeting of his intention to make two recommendations to the Kentucky Board of Education that would address the requirement that local school board members receive 12 hours of charter school authorization training for the next year.
