The Donate Life Kentucky Trust is proud to offer scholarships to support students who have been personally impacted by organ donation or transplant and are committed to sharing the importance of donation in their communities.
To support STEM education, the National Lieutenant Governors Association (NLGA) Lt. Governors’ STEM Scholarship Program will award up to $1,000 to 12 schools in 12 states and territories to support STEM-related programming, projects, equipment, curriculum and other endeavors. The application period is open until March 15, and scholarship applications are welcome from pre-K – 12th grade.
Known as Courageous Persuaders, the program asks students to craft a 30-second television commercial that could be used in a PSA campaign to warn people about underage drinking and texting while driving. It was created to make a difference in tragic statistics.
The 16th Annual Create-A-Greeting Card Scholarship is open. Hosted by The Gallery Collection, owned by Prudent Publishing Company, the contest's winner will receive a $10,000 cash scholarship. A $1,000 cash prize will go to the winner's school.
