ACT results for juniors and graduates show improvement

Overall results from the 2011 administration of the ACT to Kentucky’s public school juniors and public school graduates show improvements in all subject areas and higher percentages of students ready for college-level coursework.

Rodriguez named Kentucky Teacher editor

Nancy Rodriguez will join Kentucky Department of Education’s Division of Communications and Community Engagement staff as the new editor of Kentucky Teacher. Rodriguez has served as P-12 and higher education reporter for the Courier-Journal for nearly 10 years. Kentucky Association for Psychology in the Schools

The annual Kentucky Association for Psychology in the Schools (KAPS) will be Sept. 21-23 in Lexington. The registration packets will be posted on the KAPS website and distributed by e-mail.
