Fellowship offers government, history teachers funds for master’s degree
The James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation offers secondary-level teachers of government and history up to $24,000 to complete a master’s degree in fields related to the U.S. Constitution.
USED offers fellowship program for educators
Applications are open for the U.S. Department of Education’s (USED) 2018-19 School Ambassador Fellowship program. The program is designed to improve education for students by involving educators in the development and implementation of national education policy. The department is looking for outstanding teachers, principals, counselors, librarians and any other school-based professionals that interact daily with students and teachers.
KDE aiding the fight against human trafficking
January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. This rapidly growing crime impacts children in our state; however, because trafficking typically takes place on the fringes of society, many are unaware of its existence. KDE forming Counselor Advisory Council
