Northern Kentucky University is offering two condensed online graduate courses in environmental education during the upcoming fall semester. The two eight-week courses will be offered in succession.

Here are the courses:

  • Fundamentals of Environmental Education (EDU 545), Aug. 21-Oct. 14 – This course provides an introduction to the field of environmental education, including the history and philosophy, methodologies, state initiatives, national standards and current trends in the field.
  • Environmental Issues (EDU 594-001), Oct. 18-Dec. 15 – Students will investigate, evaluate and reflect on global and regional environmental issues, as well as develop action-based appropriate solutions.
