Early Warning is a powerful tool that evaluates each student’s Infinite Campus record as it relates to their likelihood of being promoted to the next grade and to graduate. It offers a quick way to identify students at risk in key categories (Attendance, Behavior, Curriculum and Stability).
The tool is highly sensitive, relies on hundreds of data points and picks up on changes in student records (e.g., changes in household composition) that may increase risk. It includes many features that can be helpful for various roles at the district, school and individual level and is visual, interactive and easy to use.
A 10-minute overview video and documentation for the Early Warning system are available on Infinite Campus. KDE staff are available to provide free training to schools and districts on the tool’s use.
