SACS policy for dual credit reversed

Please be advised that a new SACS policy that was to go into effect starting in the 2019-2020 school year preventing dual credit and non-dual credit students from being in the same course has been reversed.

September is National Preparedness Month. The annual observance provides an opportunity to remind all Kentucky residents that they must prepare themselves and their families to be ready for an emergency throughout the year.

New resource offered for youth preparedness

The Federal Emergency Management Agency, the U.S. Department of Education and the American Red Cross have developed the “National Strategy for Youth Preparedness Education,” a publication designed to engage and empower young people to prepare for and respond to disasters.
