SACS policy for dual credit reversed

Please be advised that a new SACS policy that was to go into effect starting in the 2019-2020 school year preventing dual credit and non-dual credit students from being in the same course has been reversed.

Reminder: Civics test required for graduation

Passed by the Kentucky General Assembly in 2017, Senate Bill 159 requires students to pass a 100-question civics test in order to graduate from a public high school with a regular diploma.

Industry certification reimbursement funding available

For the 2018-2019 school year, $1.8 million was allocated for districts and area technology centers to offer Kentucky Workforce Innovation Board approved industry recognized credentials to free/reduced-price meal students.
